Hate crime training course

Does your organisation work with communities that face violence and abuse driven by prejudice, because of who they are?

Do you want to improve your knowledge and skills to recognise and respond to hate crime, and develop a community campaign to tackle hate crime?

Together Against Hate is a training course for organisations working with communities experiencing hate crime. The programme includes a series of modules to help understand & challenge hate crime and build a community campaign, as well as opportunities to network with other community organisations, policy makers and key figures in the anti-hate crime field.

Places are available for 10 organisations, who will receive up to £5,000 to enable them to take part in the training. This is based on an estimate of total 25 days including all costs (e.g. staffing time, travel, resource, materials and contribution to core costs) between March- September 2020. These 25 days include attendance at 4 training workshops and 1 roundtable event.

For more information please see the project sheet: Together Against Hate Information Sheet.
